This project was a commissioned project made for Bethesda to help them promote their latest release of Doom. the rebirth of on of the most iconic game in the industry. the project was undertaken by myself at MyMiniFactory.
Bethesda had sent me the game assets for reference. i used this to take profile screen shot and build it from scratch in Solidworks. adding in every detail and making sure it will print successfully.
After 20 hours of design work the model was cut into more that 70 parts which needed to be printed. the printing took over 1000 hours and was ready to be assembled.
The prop was assembled with the help of the talented Sarah Wade. and then around 6 hours of painting to round the project off.
this was then handed over to Bethesda for display in their London offices and then handed over to a lucky winner.
